HTTPS connection to an external HTTP server

The following steps are recommended for establishing an HTTPS connection to an external HTTP server:

  1. Importing the server certificates in the transaction STRUST

  2. Creating a RFC destination with the transaction SM59

You have to embed the d.velop HTTP Gateway from an SAP system (client) with HTTPS.

The gateway app currently supports TLS 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. You can see which Cipher Suites are active in the HTTP gateway in the configuration file in the directory C:\d3\d.ecs http gateway\webserver\conf\extra\httpd-d3ps-ssl.conf.
