Creating a structure
You create structures for d.velop documents for Microsoft 365 with the application d.velop composer.
This is how it works
Log in to d.velop composer:
Open the website of d.velop composer in your browser under the URL https://composer.d-velop365.com.
Log in with Login.
The login page of Microsoft 365 appears.
Log in with your Microsoft account.
Create a structure with the corresponding node element:
Select Create new structure.
Under Source selection, select the desired Site collection to create a structure.
Select the desired Site of the source.
Select an item from the available lists and libraries. This element becomes the top element of the structure being created (root element).
Drag and drop the root element into the Design field in the Structure column. You can recognize the root element by the house icon.
Next, select the element that is subordinate to the root element.
Drag the child element to the Draft field. The elements are linked automatically.
Complete the structure:
Repeat the procedure described above for the other nodes below the root element.
Enter the metadata for the new structure:
Give the structure a name in the field Name.
Specify a Description for the structure.
Under Site collection, select the site collection to which the structure is to be applied.
Under Sites, select the sites where the structure should be applied within the site collection selected above.
Set the properties of the root node:
Under Display name Node, set the name under which the structure will be displayed. The Display name Node overwrites the name of the list or library in the structure.
Example display name
de:Urlaub;en:Vacation;
Under Display format elements, set the display format for list items or documents. The Elements display format overwrites the title or document name when it is displayed.
Enter the link fields for all element relationships defined under Design so that the structure can work according to the defined properties:
Under Draft, select the element of an element relationship. This can be the parent or the child element.
Under Element relationship define the property from Field (parent) and Field (child). The element relationship determines the assignment in the structure.
Under Properties, define the fields that are additionally inherited from the structure.
Set the inheritance type under Inheritance type for metadata.
Save the structure with Save.
Check the assignment in the structure under Preview.
Note
The preview shows only one layer of element relationships. To branch a child node further, drag that element into the Draft field again and assign the child element. This child link is displayed in the Preview when you save.
Note
To save a changed UI configuration in center, use a CMID in a structure in composer. Otherwise, the surface configuration in center will be overwritten and cannot be restored.
