In which format must the document be uploaded?

The following formats are supported by d.velop sign: JPG, JPEG, PNG.

Why is the document blocked for further signatories?

If the document is already in the signing process, it is blocked for other signatories during this time. It is important to finish the process by clicking on Finish. Other signatories can then sign the document. If the process is not ended with Finish, the document is locked for 20 minutes.

Why is the Bundesdruckerei window not displayed?

For technical reasons, the Bundesdruckerei window will open in a new window.

This window is not displayed if pop-up blockers are active.

A pop-up blocker is active by default in all browsers. If you deactivate this for the d.velop sign page or create an exception rule for d.velop sign, you should be able to sign the documents as usual.

Which file formats can I sign?

Currently you can sign PDF documents and XML documents with d.velop sign.

Which browser can I use for d.velop sign?

The following browsers are currently supported by us:

  • Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox on Microsoft Windows

  • Chrome on Android from Android version 5.0

  • Safari on iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  • Safari on MacOS

Attention

The use of Internet Explorer is no longer supported by d.velop since 2021. Please use another of the browsers mentioned above.

How large can the uploaded document be?

Your document must not be larger than 50 MB so that it can be uploaded and signed in d.velop sign.

How can d.velop sign be converted to English?

The d.velop sign application is available in German and English. The language depends on the language setting in your browser. You can change the language in the browser settings.

How can I sign on my tablet with d.velop sign?

In the video you can see how to create an on-site signature with the tablet:

Please note how the signature process is carried out so that the signature remains legally valid.

How can I use d.velop sign mobile?

No app or anything else is required for d.velop sign, as d.velop sign is a cloud solution. You can use d.velop sign via the browser of your smartphone. To do this, log in here with your access data for the d.velop cloud on your smartphone.

How can I unsubscribe from d.velop sign?

It is currently not possible to log out of the d.velop sign app directly. Via the main page of your d.velop cloud client ( https:// Ihrcloudmandant.d-velop.cloud ) you can log out via the person button on the top right.

How is a document initialed?

If you only want to sign a document once and still want to have a signature image on all pages of your document, you can initial this document.

  1. Select the document you want to sign and click the pencil symbol (Sign).

  2. Select the signature level and click Next.

  3. In the signature viewer of your document, click on the 3 dots at the top right of the toolbar and select Initialize.

  4. In the document, click the place you would like to sign on each page and then move the mouse pointer to draw a field. Then continue with the signature process as usual.

  5. Done Your signature image will now appear on every page of your document.

  6. Click on Finish to save complete the signature process.
