Using d.3 licenses with regard to d.3one
The new product generation of d.3one with all integration options provide the users with an additional benefit by easily making d.3 functionalities available in leading applications or in the browser.
As an integration d.3one is designed for being used in a browser as well as in the following applications:
Browser
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Office
IBM Notes
Each integration must be licensed for each user. The number of users for each article can vary within an d.3one installation. For example, 200 users can use d.3one in a browser, but only 50 users can use d.3one in Microsoft Outlook. Compared to the d.3 system d.3one is a separate integrating application.
By using d.3one in the browser or as integrating application, resources from the d.3 repository are partially fetched. With each access, a user license in the d.3 system is allocated to each d.3one user. Make sure that there is a sufficient quantity of basis licenses (Named User or Concurrent) available for all users using d.3 directly. We recommend to use Named User licenses consistently.
If there are any questions regarding the licensing of d.3one, contact your d.velop representative.
