Effect of a library for templates

You can use templates in center when storing documents in a structure node (library).

These templates can be created by your administrator. In the example, a template has been saved for the "Technical information" structure node. The template specifies the document title and ID.

This is how it works

  1. Update center if necessary.

  2. Navigate to the desired structure node for which a template has been defined.

In the example: "Technical information". A template library is stored here. Recognizable by the additional template icon.

  3. Click on the template icon. All available templates will be displayed.

  4. Select a template.

In the example, the document name is suggested. Apply the document name.

  5. Create a new document with the template. The document is uploaded immediately and inherits an ID.

  6. Save the document. The document is placed in the right place in the structure.
