Using Internet Explorer 11 with d.3one integrations as of the Current 2022.Q1 release

d.velop documents·Releases & Updates·December 17, 2021

As you have already learned, with the Current 2022.Q1 release coming in mid-January 2022, Internet Explorer will no longer be supported. If you use our SaaS services, you must have migrated to a supported browser by that time. If you use our software on-premises, you must ensure access before using the Current 2022.Q1 release.

For some d.3one integrations, there are special requirements, which we will explain in the following.

d.3one in Microsoft Office

If you use volume licensing, Microsoft Office2013, 2016 and 2019 always use Internet Explorer 11. Please upgrade to Microsoft Office version 2021 to continue using our software.

d.3one in Microsoft Outlook

For d.3one in Microsoft Outlook, the same restriction applies as for Microsoft Office. However, you can use Microsoft Edge WebView2 instead. You can get more information about WebView2 from Microsoft.

d.3one in IBM Notes and d.ecs content crawler for HCL Domino

If you want to use HCL Notes (formerly IBM Notes) with our software, which will be released in January, you will also need to update your interface to the new version. Due to technological dependencies, d.3one in IBM Notes 2022.Q1 is no longer compatible with version 9 of the HCL Notes client and the HCL Domino server. You need to upgrade to the new version.

The same applies to the use of d.ecs content crawler for HCL Domino. This product is no longer supported as of version 2022.Q1 Domino 9.
