The version "Annual 2022" was released for d.velop documents in december 2022 and marked the end of the previous version. With this post, we would like to remind you of the patch support end dates associated with this.
According to the Product Lifecycle Policy, d.velop will provide patches for the previous Annual versions for another six months after a new Annual version has been released. However, with the first-time introduction of the new Product Lifecycle Policy, updates are more complex on a one-time basis. Products of the "d.3 8.1.0-Release" have been used for a very long time and the version "Annual 2022" contains many functional changes. This is why d.velop extends the patch support for these products on a one-time basis as follows:
Regular patches are provided until the end of 2023. Patches designed to close security vulnerabilities (security patches) are provided until the release of Annual 2024 (second quarter 2024), if necessary.
