1. Introducing the new Messaging app

Introducing the new Messaging app

release notes, Releases & Updates, Developer·March 27, 2025

We would like to inform you about the current progress of our new Messaging app, which will replace the Notification app in the future.

Last year, we transferred the functions of the Notification app to the cloud. Now we are faced with the challenge of organizing the transition to the new Messaging app.

To make the transition as easy as possible for you, we have decided to take a step-by-step approach. We will start with 100 randomly selected cloud instances. If your instance is one of them, the notification app endpoint in Cloud Center will be changed to https://messaging.prod.aws.fts.d-3.de/notification.

Do not remove this override! Only change the end point if you experience problems sending notifications after the transition. In this case, delete the end point override and create a support ticket describing the issues.

After the first 100 instances have been successfully migrated, we will gradually transfer additional clients. The Messaging app adopts the functionality of the Notification app completely, so that no adjustments are necessary.

However, there is one change: the sender address changes from noreply@notification.service.d-velop.cloud to no-reply@d-velop.cloud. Please adjust any existing e-mail rules and forwarding accordingly.

Thank you for your support.
