Navigate efficiently – now also using the history

Releases & Updates, release notes, General·November 26, 2025

We've frequently received customer feedback requesting the ability to navigate back directly through multiple resources in the new operating concept. Users who were familiar with the old operating concept were particularly eager for this feature.

Now, a long click on the back arrow opens the history. The list contains all pages that can be accessed via the back arrow in the application. This allows you to quickly and easily navigate back to a page instead of having to click the back arrow multiple times.

This is how it works

To open the history, press and hold the back arrow. After a short moment, the list will be displayed. If you click on one of the entries, you will jump back to that page.

Alternatively, you can also open the history using the keyboard. To do this, focus the back arrow and then press the Shift + Down.

Please note

If you jump directly to a specific resource, the resource itself has no way of interrupting the back navigation. The same applies to unsaved changes. In this case, your input will be lost. Please make sure to always save your input and changes on time.

This behavior is described in the following KB article: When navigating via the history menu in d.velop documents, my unsaved changes are lost
