As announced in January (Customize Node.js version in d.velop process studio - d.velop scripting), you can now update the Node.js version from version 18 to version 22 in the cloud as of July 9, 2025. This step is necessary in order to test the existing scripts with Node.js version 22 in advance and, if necessary, adapt the scripts by August 31, 2025.
From August 31, 2025, only Node.js version 22 will be supported. It will not be possible to revert to version 18. The option to change Node.js versions will then no longer be available in the feature previews section.
This is how it works
In the configuration, go to the Miscellaneous section. The Feature Previews entry is only available to administrators of your tenant.
Under d.velop process studio, click Node 22 execution environment.
Enable the new Node.js version. As long as the function is disabled, version 18 of Node.js will continue to be used.
Enabling this option will automatically run scripts with Node.js version 22. You don't need to save or rebuild scripts.
