Runtime contexts for actions within processes

When running an action in d.velop process studio, there are actions that must be executed explicitly on behalf of user accounts. Reasons for this may include explicit permissions that the technical login of the executing app does not have. For this reason, when using an action, you can now specify whether the action is executed as before via the default user account (login of the respective app) or via an explicit user account.

d.velop process studio, the details of an action are open.

Select Custom user account and choose either an explicit user account or an identity process variable to be used for executing the action.

d.velop process studio, the details of an action are open, and a specific user account is entered.

Extension of the process log

The process log has been expanded so that a call to action performed with a specified user context is now explicitly noted in the process log.

Access to the person who completed a task

A new internal process variable dv_completion_user of type Identity is available for process modeling. This process variable contains the user account that completed the previous user step. You can use this variable in a subsequent action, for example. You cannot change the variable dv_completion_user; you can only use it in read mode.

Full screen mode for d.velop process studio
